Winter in America

It's cold now.

It's winter time.

Time to wrap yourself in the furs of the dead animals for warmth.

The harvest was good but it might be a long winter.

Pad the nest with extra fluff and twigs and such.

Hunker down.

All the chocolate will be warm from now on.

The tea is no longer iced, but hot, and steeping in the pot.

Time to read and remember the past year and plan for the coming one.

The boom times being over means we must save, conserve, like the noble squirrel, who is now busy packing his acorns into some small knotted tree-hole.
